Maryam Aurangzeb said that Punjab’s latest budget holds great importance. She shared that the Chief Minister openly told the people where their money had been used. According to Maryam, although this is called an annual budget, it feels more like a mission, as Reported By Save Our Pak News Channel On Tuesday.
She mentioned that the development budget has been increased by 23%. Last year, the government built roads that covered 12,000 kilometers. The Chief Minister focused mainly on the health and education sectors. Around 27% of the budget will be spent on health and education this year.
She also said that a large amount of money has been used for solid waste management and water sanitation projects. These steps are part of the government’s efforts to improve the living conditions in the province.
