Save Our Pak
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar is planning an important visit to the United States this month, and details of his trip have now come out, as Reported By Save Our Pak News Channel on Saturday.
Ishaq Dar will visit the U.S. from July 21 to July 24, 2025. During this time, Pakistan will host two key events as President of the UN Security Council. On July 22, there will be a debate on multilateral cooperation and another discussion on promoting global peace and security through peaceful resolution of conflicts. UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has also been invited to join these sessions.
On July 24, a briefing will take place on “Cooperation between the United Nations and Regional Organizations.” This session will also focus on strengthening ties between the UN and the OIC (Organization of Islamic Cooperation).
As President of the Security Council, Ishaq Dar will address the Council on July 22. During his trip, he is also expected to meet UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.
On July 23, Ishaq Dar will chair the Council’s quarterly debate on the Palestine issue. He is also likely to travel to Washington, where meetings with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and other senior officials are expected.
