NADRA has shared an informational video that explains the simple steps to make a child’s B-Form (also called Child Registration Certificate). It includes all the details like the process, required documents, and fees. Here is a complete guide for you:
Required Documents
- Parents’ CNIC (Computerized National Identity Card). If the child is adopted, the legal guardian’s CNIC and proof of guardianship are needed.
- A computerized birth certificate issued by the Union Council or Cantonment Board, or a naturalization/citizenship certificate.
Children’s Presence
- Kids under 3 years old do not need to visit the NADRA office.
- Children between 3 and 18 years must be present at the office.
- For kids under 10 years, only a photo is required.
- For children aged 10 to 18, photo, fingerprints, and an eye scan will be needed.
Steps at NADRA Office
- Go to the reception and get a token, then wait for your turn.
- Biometric Verification: When your turn comes, go to the counter. One parent will complete biometric verification.
- Data Entry: Provide the child’s details. Their fingerprints and photo will be taken. You will get a printed form check it carefully and correct any mistakes on the spot.
Form Verification
- If your spouse is present, their biometric verification can be done right there.
- If the child is adopted, and you are the legal guardian, then the form must be verified by a Gazetted Officer or Public Representative before submitting it back to NADRA.
Fee Payment
- After your application is approved (you will get an SMS), pay the fee at the NADRA office or online, depending on the category you choose:
- Executive Category: PKR 500 (1 day delivery)
- Normal Category: PKR 50 (7 days delivery)
Collection
After the mentioned time for your selected category, collect the B-Form from the same NADRA office where you applied.
