A heartbreaking incident took place in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, where a helpless father ended his life because he couldn’t afford treatment for his daughter, as Reported By Save Our Pak News Channel on Friday.
According to Indian media, this sad event happened in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. The father, who was deep in debt, went live on Facebook and asked for financial help to buy insulin for his daughter.
Reports say the man used to work in real estate and owed money to many people. He didn’t have any money left to pay his loans.
Police also said that the man’s daughter was a diabetes patient, and he didn’t even have enough money to buy her insulin.
In the video, the man kept crying and said that he was broken because of the debt and financial pressure.
According to Indian media, the man’s family contacted the police and told them they were afraid he might take his own life after the video.
Sadly, before the police could reach him, the man ended his life using a guard’s gun at the office, just after posting the live video asking for help.
So far, police have not revealed the name of the man who took this step.
