Lahore (August 5, 2025): The government has announced a reward for school teachers whose students pass exams with good marks.
Punjab’s Education Minister, Rana Sikandar Hayat, shared on social media that all respected school teachers who have worked hard to consistently achieve excellent student results will be given a reward.
Rana Sikandar Hayat also warned that teachers with a poor performance record whose students fail every year should be concerned.
It is worth noting that this statement from the provincial education minister comes just a few days before the announcement of Punjab’s annual matric exam results for 2025.
According to the statistics released by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore, the overall pass percentage in the exams was 65.32%.
A total of 254,012 students appeared in the exams, out of which 165,912 passed successfully.
