Heavy Rains with Strong Winds New Alert Issued

The PDMA (Provincial Disaster Management Authority) Punjab has issued an alert for the fourth spell of monsoon rains. According to the spokesperson, from July 20 to July 25, there is a forecast of strong winds, dust storms, and heavy rainfall. Cities like Rawalpindi, Murree, Galyat, Attock, Chakwal, Mandi Bahauddin, Gujrat, Jhelum, and Gujranwala are likely to experience rain along with strong winds, as Reported By Save Our Pak News Channel on Friday.

Rain is also expected in Lahore, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Narowal, Mianwali, and Sargodha. From July 18 to July 23, areas like Multan, DG Khan, Bahawalpur, and Bahawalnagar are also expected to receive rain.

Following the instructions of the Chief Minister of Punjab, all district administrations have been put on alert. Citizens are advised to take safety precautions and stay in safe places during this spell.

Meanwhile, in Karachi, the third spell of the monsoon season is ready to bring heavy showers. The Director General of the Meteorological Department has warned that the rain system, which is currently in Punjab, is moving towards Sindh. In the next two days, heavy rain is expected in eastern Sindh, including Mirpur Khas, Badin, Sanghar, Nawabshah, and Thatta.

He added that under the influence of this monsoon spell, Karachi is likely to experience heavy rain with thunderstorms tomorrow. Today, the weather in Karachi will remain partly cloudy and humid.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is also a chance of light rain or drizzle at night.
