Many Pakistani citizens face rejection when applying for a Schengen visa. The main reason is not providing proper proof of financial resources, as Reported By Save Our Pak News Channel on Thursday.

One of the biggest mistakes is submitting a wrong or fake bank statement. It’s very important for Pakistanis to make sure they have a correct and valid bank statement when applying for a Schengen visa to any European country.

Austria is a beautiful European country known for its amazing tourist spots. To visit Austria as a tourist, people from Pakistan and many other countries need a Type-C Schengen visa. This visa allows foreign citizens to stay in Austria and other Schengen countries for up to 90 days.

In Pakistan, the Austrian Embassy has given the job of handling visa applications and returning passports to an outside service provider called VFS Global. This means Pakistanis need to submit their visa applications through VFS.

Austria Visit Visa Fee in Pakistan

The Schengen visa fee for Pakistanis is 15,040 PKR, and VFS charges an additional 7,520 PKR as a service fee.

Bank Statement for Austria Visit Visa

One of the most important documents for an Austrian Schengen visa is proof that you have enough money to support your stay in Europe.

Applicants must submit a bank statement for the last six months, which should include the bank’s address and phone number. This can be from your current or savings account.

If you plan to stay in Austria for 90 days, you will need around 9,200 to 10,800 euros.

As of July 23, the open market exchange rate for 1 euro in Pakistan is about 334.4 PKR. This means you may need around 3 to 4 million PKR for a 90-day stay as a tourist in Austria.
