Karachi: The Met Office has shared that light rain is expected in Karachi during the next few days. Today, the sky will stay cloudy, and the weather will remain humid, as Reported By Save Our Pak News Channel on Wednesday.
According to the weather department, sea breeze is currently stopped in the city, and the humidity level is high. At the moment, the air’s humidity level is 79%.
In Karachi, the temperature may go up to 35°C over the next three days. Due to the increase in humidity, the heat will feel more intense. Light winds are blowing from the south direction.
On the other hand, heavy rain has made the weather pleasant in Rawalpindi, Islamabad, and surrounding areas. Due to the rainfall, the water level in Nala Lai has also increased.
In Islamabad, different areas received the following amount of rain:
Syedpur Village got 65mm, Golra received 32mm, and Bokra had 20mm. Shamsabad got 26mm, Kachehri 10mm, Pira Dewahi 16mm, and Sector H-8 recorded 40mm.
In Lahore, several areas received light to heavy rain. It rained in Model Town, Green Town, Nishtar, Canal Ichhra, and Muslim Town. Rain was also reported in Johar Town, Thokar Niaz Baig, Multan Road, and nearby areas.
The MD of WASA (Water and Sanitation Agency) shared that in Nala Lai, the water level at Katarian reached 10 feet, and in Gowalmandi, it rose to 7.5 feet.
Authorities are closely monitoring the rain situation. Heavy machinery and teams are working in low-lying areas to drain the rainwater.
