India Failed to Shoot Down Any Pakistani Jet in the Battle of Haq, Confirms DG ISPR

Rawalpindi: DG ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has confirmed that during the Battle of Haq, India did not shoot down a single Pakistani aircraft.

According to details, Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said in an interview with the foreign magazine Bloomberg that Pakistan’s defense strategy has always focused on using effective and reliable systems while also developing technology inside the country.

He added that Pakistan is always open to adopting any kind of technology, whether it is locally made or comes from the East or West. However, Pakistan does not believe in joining an arms race with India.

The DG ISPR said Pakistan has never tried to hide or change facts and confirmed once again that during the Battle of Haq, India could not down any Pakistani jet.

According to Bloomberg’s report, about a week ago, U.S. President Donald Trump also confirmed that seven Indian jets were shot down. The report further mentioned that in the Battle of Haq, Pakistan’s Chinese-made J-10C fighter jets destroyed several Indian aircraft, including the Rafale jets.

DG ISPR also praised the strong performance of Pakistani and Chinese defense equipment. The report added that last month, Pakistan announced the inclusion of the Z-10ME attack helicopter in its military fleet.

The report further stated that Pakistan uses Chinese weapons as well as U.S.-made F-16 fighter jets, which together make its defense system stronger and more balanced.
