A strange case came to light in the U.S. where an Indian man finally got justice 15 years after being bitten by a dog, as Reported By Save Our Pak News Channel On Friday.
Kishore Sinha, who lived in the Indian state of Telangana, went to the U.S. in 2010 for work. He rented a place from a woman named Karla in Rhode Island.
One day, Karla’s pet dog attacked Kishore, thinking he was a stranger. The bite was serious and left him badly injured. At first, Karla promised to pay for his medical treatment, but later she kept delaying and refused to help.
When Kishore asked again for the money, Karla behaved rudely. So, he filed a case in a Washington D.C. court. The court ordered Karla to pay him $10,359 as compensation.
But since Karla had already filed for bankruptcy, the payment was delayed for a long time.
Recently, Karla sold her house and finally paid the money to Kishore. So after 15 long years, the Indian man got the justice he was waiting for.
Under the court’s order, Karla gave $29,092.91 to the buyer of her house, and Kishore received the amount in his bank account.
Kishore praised the U.S. legal system and said he was happy to finally receive justice.
