Indian Pilot Dies in Plane Crash in Canada

In the city of Toronto, Canada, two small planes crashed into each other, resulting in the death of a young Indian-origin pilot, as Reported By Save Our Pak News Channel on Thursday.

According to Indian media, the Indian Consulate in Toronto confirmed that one of the two pilots who died in this tragic crash was an Indian student.

The accident happened on Tuesday morning near Steinbach South Airport in southern Manitoba, around 400 meters from a runway used by Harv’s Air Flight School.

The pilots who lost their lives were identified as 21-year-old Srihari Sukesh from the Indian state of Kerala and his classmate, 20-year-old Savanah May, a Canadian citizen.

In a post on the social media platform X, the Indian Consulate expressed deep sorrow over the death of Srihari Sukesh and offered heartfelt condolences to his family.

Srihari had already earned his private pilot license and was working hard to get his commercial pilot certification.

According to Adam Penner, the president of Harv’s Air Flight Training School, both pilots were flying small single-engine Cessna planes and were practicing take-offs and landings at the time of the crash.

He said that both planes tried to land at the same time and collided just a few hundred feet away from the short runway.
