The Foreign Office of Pakistan has rejected the false claims made by Indian media about Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar. The spokesperson clearly said that Pakistan neither started the war nor asked anyone for a ceasefire, as Reported By Save Our Pak News Channel On Saturday.
According to the spokesperson, the truth is the opposite Pakistan only agreed to a ceasefire when it was offered. He added that Pakistan strongly responded to Indian aggression by using its right to self-defense. The Deputy Prime Minister had already made this clear in his interviews and official statements.
The spokesperson also shared that friendly countries like Saudi Arabia and the United States played an important role in helping both countries reach a ceasefire.
Earlier, 26 people were killed by unknown attackers in the Pahalgam area of Indian-occupied Kashmir. India blamed Pakistan for the attack, but failed to provide any solid proof.
Using that incident as an excuse, India launched airstrikes on different cities of Pakistan on the night of May 6 and 7. But Pakistan’s Air Force gave a strong reply, shooting down 6 Indian fighter jets, including Rafale aircraft.
In response to India’s aggression, Pakistan launched Operation Bunyan-e-Marsus on May 10. During this mission, Pakistan successfully targeted Indian airbases and military facilities in multiple cities.
After facing this powerful response, India asked the United States to help mediate. Then, U.S. President Donald Trump stepped in and helped both countries agree to a ceasefire.
