Iran Opens Its Airspace for International Flights

Iran’s Civil Aviation Organization has made an important announcement, saying that Iran has now opened its airspace for international flights, as Reported By Save Our Pak News Channel On Friday.

According to the official Iranian news agency, all airports in Iran have started operating both local and international flights as per schedule.

However, the airports in Isfahan and Tabriz will only operate flights from 5 AM to 6 PM for now, because they are still missing some essential services. These two airports are not yet fully functional like the other airports in Iran.

Reports say that once these services are restored in Isfahan and Tabriz, they will become fully active like the rest of the country’s airports.

On the other hand, Pakistan has extended the ban on Indian aircraft using its airspace.

According to the Airports Authority, Pakistan’s airspace will remain closed for Indian flights for another month, and an official NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) has been issued.

This ban includes all Indian passenger and military planes, as well as any aircraft registered in India or taken on lease by Indian companies. None of them are allowed to fly over Pakistani airspace.

Due to this closure, Indian airlines have already suffered major financial losses. Boeing 777 and Airbus planes have to fly 2 to 4 extra hours daily for about 150 flights.

The airline most affected is Air India, which has already requested financial help from the Indian government. The airline estimates that if the ban continues, it could lose over 50 billion rupees every year. Air India has even asked for a subsidy model to cover its losses.
