Iran’s Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, has strongly criticized Israel’s attack on Iran’s nuclear sites, saying that this action has crossed a new red line. He blamed the United States for being equally responsible and warned that America will also have to face the consequences, as Reported By Save Our Pak News Channel On Satursday.
Speaking at a press conference in Tehran, Araghchi stated that Israel could not have attacked Iran without U.S. support. He said there is strong evidence showing U.S. involvement in the attack. Although the U.S. has sent a letter denying its role, Iran does not believe this claim.
He also condemned the Israeli strike on Iran’s Pars Gas Field, calling it a dangerous act. He demanded that the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) officially condemn the Israeli attack on the Natanz reactor. Araghchi made it clear that Iran will never agree to any deal that blocks its right to nuclear energy.
He further said that Israel has tried to ruin the nuclear talks by killing key Iranian officials. These attacks show that Israel is completely against any kind of peace talks.
Araghchi urged the international community to take notice of Israeli aggression. He said the attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities is a serious move and has forced Iran to think about targeting Israeli economic interests in return.
He clarified that Iran does not want to start a war or make it worse. Any counterattack on Israel was done only for self-defense. But if needed, Iran may think about expanding the conflict to other countries.
Araghchi warned that the Israeli attack could turn into a wider war across the entire region. He also repeated that Iran is committed to its peaceful nuclear program. He claimed that the recent attack shows Israel does not want Iran to be part of any global nuclear deal. He ended by confirming that Iran will continue enriching uranium up to 60%.
