Istanbul Talks Pakistan Shares Solid Proof of Terror Attacks from Afghan Soil

In Istanbul, peace talks between Pakistan and the Afghan Taliban government are currently underway. According to official sources, Pakistan has shared solid evidence of terrorist attacks launched from Afghan soil and presented its clear demands to the mediators. Reported by Save Our Pak.

The talks are being held with international mediators present. Pakistani officials confirmed that their delegation handed over verified evidence and key demands related to cross-border terrorism.

Sources said Pakistan’s main demand is simple — the complete end of terrorist activities coming from across the border. The mediators supported Pakistan’s position and accepted the evidence as valid under international law.

Reports suggest that mediators are now discussing Pakistan’s demands with the Afghan Taliban delegation to find a way forward.

It is important to remember that during the first round of talks, held from October 25 to 28 last month in Istanbul, no major progress was achieved. At that time, Pakistan had asked for a verifiable mechanism to stop attacks from Afghan territory and made it clear that peace would not be possible until the hideouts of the banned TTP were removed.

Information Minister Atta Tarar said the previous negotiations lasted four days but did not reach any workable solution. Those talks, hosted by Turkey and Qatar, ended without any concrete results.

This new round of talks, however, focuses on a single-point agenda — building border stability and ending terrorism through practical cooperation between the two sides.
