People in Karachi should get ready for another hot day. According to the latest report from the Meteorological Department, the city will face strong sunshine with hot and dry weather. The temperature can reach up to 39 degrees Celsius during the day.
The department said that Karachi’s weather will feel hot in the daytime, while in the evening the humidity level will stay low.
It added that the morning and night hours will remain slightly cool, with dry winds blowing slowly from the north.
At present, the temperature in the city is 25 degrees Celsius, and the humidity in the air is around 40 percent. The air quality of Karachi is poor, with pollution levels recorded at 141 particulate meters.
It is worth noting that earlier, a warning was issued about a low-pressure area over the Arabian Sea, but the department confirmed there is no threat to Pakistan’s coastal areas.
This system has been moving slowly toward the north or northeast over the past 24 hours and is now about 1,690 kilometers southeast of Karachi.
The Meteorological Department said the low pressure is likely to move further northeast in the next 24 hours, but right now it poses no danger to any coastal part of Pakistan.
