Kuwait has officially reopened its airspace after the recent conflict involving Iran. Authorities also announced that flight operations at Kuwait International Airport have restarted.
According to the Kuwait Directorate General of Civil Aviation, some facilities were damaged during the conflict, which forced the suspension of air operations for safety reasons.
Officials said that reopening the airspace will bring major relief to passengers and allow international flights to resume normally.
Kuwaiti authorities also thanked Saudi Arabia for its support during the difficult time. They appreciated Saudi Arabia for providing alternative arrangements for Kuwaiti flights.
Officials added that after completing all safety checks and restoring airport facilities, full flight operations will soon return to normal.
It is important to note that flight operations at Kuwait International Airport had been suspended since February 28.
