Latest Water Flow Update in Rivers and Reservoirs Across Pakistan

At Tarbela, the Indus River is receiving 293,000 cusecs of water, while the outflow is 150,000 cusecs. At Mangla, the Jhelum River is receiving 24,100 cusecs, and the outflow is 10,000 cusecs, as Reported By Save Our Pak News Channel On Monday.

According to the WAPDA spokesperson, at Chashma Barrage, the inflow is 254,400 cusecs, and the outflow is 213,800 cusecs. At Head Marala, the Chenab River is getting 76,100 cusecs, and the release is 43,600 cusecs. At Nowshera, the Kabul River has both an inflow and outflow of 55,200 cusecs.

About the reservoirs, WAPDA has said that the current water level at Tarbela Reservoir is 1,498.65 feet, and it holds 3.053 million acre-feet of water. At Mangla Reservoir, the water level is 1,176.00 feet, with 2.891 million acre-feet of water. At Chashma Reservoir, the level is 648.50 feet, storing 285,000 acre-feet of water.

The total usable water stored in Tarbela, Mangla, and Chashma reservoirs is 6.229 million acre-feet as of now.

The inflow and outflow at Tarbela and Chashma (Indus River), Nowshera (Kabul River), and Mangla (Jhelum River) are based on 24-hour average flow. However, the data from Head Marala and other locations reflect the status as of 6:00 AM today.
