Jeddah: Under the supervision of Saudi Arabia’s Minister for Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, the Seasonal Professions Forum has officially begun at King Saud Hall, Umm Al-Qura University.
According to the Saudi news agency, the forum will review and discuss different aspects of services provided to pilgrims during the Hajj and Umrah seasons. The main focus is to improve the quality, organization, and efficiency of these services.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah said the forum aims to improve the skills and abilities of workers assigned to serve pilgrims. He added that this initiative supports Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and helps ensure that guests of Allah are served in a well-planned and professional manner.
During the event, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah signed agreements with Al-Ma’rifah Waqf and Silah Company. Under these agreements, the companies’ roles will be expanded, and special training programs will be developed for guides, assistants, and seasonal workers.
It is important to note that the Seasonal Professions Forum is a national guidance platform. It offers training courses designed to enhance professional skills. The forum also includes workshops across different fields related to Hajj and Umrah services.
The forum features around 30 workshops, with more than 25,000 participants taking part.
