Major Muizz Abbas, who was martyred during a clash with Indian-sponsored militants in South Waziristan, was laid to rest after his funeral prayers were held in Chaklala Garrison, Rawalpindi, as Reported By Save Our Pak News Channel On Wednesday.
According to ISPR, the funeral was attended by Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, and other top military officials. The atmosphere was full of emotion and pride as people honored the brave officer.
Speaking at the funeral, Army Chief Asim Munir said that Major Syed Muizz Abbas was martyred while fighting bravely. He gave his life while doing his duty and followed the great traditions of courage, sacrifice, and patriotism.
The Army Chief added that the entire nation stands with the family of the martyr, and we salute their sacrifice for the defense of the country. He said, “We owe everything to our martyrs. Their blood is the true foundation of our country’s strength and stability.”
As per ISPR, Major Muizz was martyred in Sararogha, South Waziristan while fighting against militants. His body has been sent to his hometown for burial with full military honors.
