Maryam Nawaz Says 1800 Villages in Punjab to Become Model Villages

On Monday, Chief Minister of Punjab Maryam Nawaz announced that 1,800 villages in the province will be turned into model villages. She shared this news while talking about the development plans for Punjab, as Reported By Save Our Pak News Channel On Tuesday.

Maryam Nawaz said that this year’s budget didn’t include any new taxes or tax hikes. She added that this is the biggest development program in Punjab’s history. She also said that they are working to end the gap between cities and villages, so both can enjoy equal progress and facilities.

According to her, the benefits of development will now reach even the smallest towns and villages. She explained that alongside the Lahore Development Program, they are also launching a Punjab-wide Development Project.

She clearly said that development will no longer depend on who is rich or poor everyone will benefit equally. Maryam Nawaz mentioned that her government is here to serve the common people and is fully focused on the mission of public welfare.

She promised to fulfill the promises made to farmers. The government has already set aside more than 129 billion rupees to support them. She also said that the Green Tractor Scheme will not just help a few people it will benefit hundreds of thousands of farmers across Punjab.

To buy even more tractors, the government is giving 15.5 billion rupees. Plus, more than 12,000 kilometers of roads will be built and expanded, which will be a new record in the province’s development history.
