Lahore (27 September 2025): Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has announced that he will personally pay the fine imposed on Haris Rauf.
According to sources, PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi decided to cover the International Cricket Council (ICC) fine on fast bowler Haris Rauf from his own pocket.
The fine was imposed on Haris Rauf for showing a “0-6” gesture during the Pakistan vs India match on 21 September at the Dubai International Stadium. He was fined 30% of his match fee for this act.
Meanwhile, his teammate batsman Sahibzada Farhan received a warning for celebrating against India in the ongoing Asia Cup Super Fours match.
Following these events, local media reported that PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi would personally pay Haris Rauf’s fine.
