Islamabad: NADRA has made it easier for people to get their national ID cards without wasting time visiting offices. This new step will save citizens from long lines and repeated visits.
According to details, NADRA has introduced a modern and simple way to apply for your ID card. Now, people can apply online from home instead of going to a NADRA office.
NADRA says citizens can submit their applications through the Pak ID website or mobile app. Once approved, the ID card will be delivered directly to their homes through a courier service.
With this facility, people can save their precious time and avoid the hassle of standing in long queues.
For more information or to apply online, visit www.nadra.gov.pk or call the NADRA helpline at 1777.
It’s worth noting that NADRA — the National Database and Registration Authority — is a federal institution under Pakistan’s Ministry of Interior.
The organization was established in 2000 to create a secure and modern database containing biometric information of Pakistani citizens.
NADRA’s key responsibilities include issuing and renewing CNICs, providing B-Forms/Child Registration Certificates (CRC), verifying bank accounts, SIM cards, and property records, and issuing NICOP and POC cards for overseas Pakistanis.
