The Pakistan Navy carried out an anti-narcotics operation in the Arabian Sea and seized drugs worth 130 million dollars.
According to officials, PNS Tabuk conducted the operation during a routine Regional Maritime Security Patrol in the area.
The mission was supported by Task Force 150, which operates under the Saudi-led Combined Maritime Forces.
During the operation, more than 2,000 kilograms of crystal ice were recovered from a suspicious fishing boat.
This is the third successful anti-drug operation by the Pakistan Navy in the past two months.
The statement added that the Pakistan Navy remains fully prepared to stop illegal activities at sea. It said the Navy is committed to protecting the country’s maritime interests and continues to play an active role in maintaining international maritime security.
