Pakistan has achieved a major success on the international stage after the Indian delegation backed out at the very last moment.
According to the Pakistan High Commission, the Indian team suddenly withdrew from a confirmed Oxford Union debate, allowing Pakistan to win unopposed.
General (R) Zubair Hayat, Hina Rabbani Khar, and Dr. Muhammad Faisal had already reached London for the debate, but the Indian delegation did not even show the courage to attend.
The High Commission said that instead of answering for their aggressive policies against Pakistan, India chose to run away. Backing out from a neutral and respected platform like the Oxford Union completely exposed India’s narrative.
According to the statement, Indian leaders make loud claims on TV, but when it comes to facing real questions on a global forum, they step back. Even though Indian students were in the majority at Oxford, the delegation still refused to take part or vote.
The High Commission added that India’s so-called security policy could not handle the logical questions expected at Oxford Union. To avoid embarrassment, the Indian speakers themselves ruined the pre-scheduled debate by withdrawing.
Their absence at such an important event has now become a big question mark in front of their own people.
