Pakistan has achieved a big milestone! For the very first time, eggs from Pakistan are being exported to the United States. A total of $18.25 million worth of eggs have been exported — a record-breaking achievement for the country’s poultry industry.
According to details, Pakistan’s egg exports have increased more than ever before. The Department of Animal Quarantine confirmed that since July 1, 2025, around 1.899 million dozen eggs worth $2.37 million have been shipped to the USA.
The latest data shows that during the 2024-25 financial year, Pakistan exported eggs worth $18.25 million, compared to $14 million last year — showing a major jump in sales and demand.
Pakistan’s eggs are also being exported to many other countries including the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Hong Kong, Kuwait, Qatar, Somalia, and Afghanistan.
The Department of Animal Quarantine reported that exports to the UAE were worth $17.22 million, to Hong Kong $544,000, to Bahrain $329,000, to Kuwait $316,000, to Somalia $241,000, and to Afghanistan $1.07 million.
In the same year, Pakistan also exported 1,169 metric tons of liquid eggs valued at $2.61 million. This marks another achievement for the country’s growing food industry.
Experts say this increase in exports is a very positive sign for Pakistan’s agriculture and livestock sectors. It will not only help local farmers but also boost foreign exchange reserves and support the country’s economy.
