Lahore (March 5, 2026): The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has made major changes to the national selection committee by adding new members, including two former Pakistan captains.
According to details, former captain Misbah-ul-Haq and ex-skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed have now been included in the selection panel. They will work alongside former cricketers Aaqib Javed and Asad Shafiq, who are already serving on the committee.
In an official statement, the PCB confirmed that former international umpire Aleem Dar has resigned from his position. His resignation has been accepted, and the board has updated its official website with the new list of committee members.
Cricket experts believe that the inclusion of experienced players like Misbah-ul-Haq and Sarfaraz Ahmed will strengthen the selection process and help improve decisions regarding the national team.
