The government has once again increased the prices of petroleum products, creating more problems for people already struggling with inflation.
According to a new notification issued by the Ministry of Finance, the prices of petrol and high-speed diesel have been raised for the next one week.
Petrol has become more expensive by 14.92 rupees per liter. After the increase, the new petrol price has reached 414.78 rupees per liter.
At the same time, the price of high-speed diesel has also gone up by 15 rupees per liter. The new diesel price is now 414.58 rupees per liter.
The latest increase is expected to put more pressure on transportation costs and daily household expenses across the country.
