Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has congratulated former captain of Pakistan’s Women’s Cricket Team, Sana Mir, for being included in the ICC Hall of Fame, as Reported By Save Our Pak News Channel On Friday.
During a meeting with her on Friday, the Prime Minister praised Sana Mir for her great performance in cricket. He appreciated how her leadership helped the women’s cricket team of Pakistan achieve big successes.
He said, “Under your captaincy, the team performed very well and brought international fame to Pakistan.”
PM Shehbaz Sharif also said that he hopes Sana Mir will continue to help young players in Pakistan cricket. He believes that her experience will be very helpful in training the next generation.
He also said that the government is working to promote talent based on merit in all kinds of sports. He added, “We want to make sure that men and women both get equal chances and facilities in every sport, including cricket.”
Sana Mir thanked the Prime Minister for his kind words and support.
She said that she will keep working to represent Pakistan on world cricket platforms like the ICC and the World Cricket Association.
