Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held an important meeting with the Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan in Islamabad. During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations, CPEC, regional peace, the economic situation, and the latest developments in the Iran-Israel conflict, as Reported By Save Our Pak News Channel On Tuesday.
The Prime Minister sent his best wishes to Chinese President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Qiang. He also wished success for the upcoming Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit. Both sides agreed to keep working together on ongoing projects under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
Prime Minister Shehbaz said that CPEC will not only strengthen economic ties between Pakistan and China but will also bring progress and prosperity to the entire region.
He added that Pakistan’s macroeconomic outlook has improved and the government is fully committed to making the economy stable and strong.
The Chinese Ambassador appreciated Pakistan’s positive and active role on international diplomatic platforms. He also updated the Prime Minister on different areas of cooperation between China and Pakistan.
