Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is expected to visit Saudi Arabia in the coming days after receiving an official invitation from Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
According to sources, this will be his second important visit to Saudi Arabia in less than a month. During the visit, detailed discussions will take place on the overall situation in the Middle East and efforts to maintain peace in the region.
Reports suggest that talks may also include the future plan of negotiations between the United States and Iran. Leaders are expected to discuss ways to reduce tensions and explore the chances of a long-term ceasefire.
The visit will also focus on ongoing diplomatic efforts between Pakistan, Iran, and the United States to extend the ceasefire and ensure its proper implementation.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is likely to appreciate the positive role played by both countries in supporting peace talks. He is also expected to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral relations further.
It is important to note that last week, Saudi Finance Minister Mohammed Al-Jadaan visited Islamabad for a one-day trip. During his visit, he met the Prime Minister at the Prime Minister House. The meeting was also attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Chief of Army Staff Asim Munir.
