Chief Minister Sohaib Afridi has decided to make major administrative changes in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to sources, the founder of PTI has given Sohaib Afridi full authority to form his cabinet as he wishes. However, no final decision has been made yet about which ministers will join the cabinet.
Party sources said that the founder has rejected the idea of forming an advisory council in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab. The purpose of this decision is to give complete authority to Sohaib Afridi and Aliya Hamza.
The founder’s message has been delivered to the Chief Minister. It clearly states that only Sohaib Afridi will run the government in the province.
The replacement of the KP Inspector General (IG) and Chief Secretary is also under consideration. The new IG might be appointed from the tribal districts.
The formation of the new cabinet in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been delayed until Sohaib Afridi meets with the PTI founder.
Sources said that the final decision about the cabinet will be made after consultation during the meeting.
