Quetta (February 11, 2026): Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has announced a financial support package of Rs10 billion for Frontier Constabulary (FC) Balochistan.
According to ARY News, Maryam Nawaz visited the Frontier Constabulary Headquarters in Balochistan. While addressing the officers and soldiers, she said that a few months ago she was informed that FC needed financial assistance. She added that Balochistan is not alone and that the entire nation stands with the province. She formally announced Rs10 billion to strengthen FC’s operations.
The Chief Minister praised the sacrifices of FC personnel, saying they are fighting to protect the country and defend the land. She mentioned that nearly one thousand officers have embraced martyrdom. “Every single life is precious,” she said, saluting those who continue to serve on the front lines despite challenges.
Maryam Nawaz said that enemies are attacking Pakistan in a very strategic way. She stated that anyone who weakens Pakistan cannot be considered a friend but is, in fact, an enemy. However, she emphasized that if the nation stands united like a solid wall, no enemy can harm the country.
She further said that peace and stability in Balochistan are a top priority for the entire country. According to her, Pakistan is not only facing physical warfare but also “fifth-generation warfare,” where minds are targeted through propaganda and misinformation. She stressed that forces trying to divide the nation will never succeed, and the country must stay strong to defeat such hidden threats.
The Punjab Chief Minister also highlighted improvements in Punjab’s law and order situation. She said that by increasing the capacity and strength of security forces, crime rates have significantly decreased in the province. She added that similar efforts are needed in Balochistan to further strengthen FC and improve security conditions.
