Lahore: The Agriculture Department has announced a special relief package for potato and kinnow farmers, as well as other stakeholders. This package has been introduced through the efforts of the Punjab government and continuous coordination with the federal government.
According to the details, the federal government has officially issued the notification for this relief package.
It is important to note that the export of Pakistani kinnow and potatoes is increasing rapidly through Iran’s transit route. Because of this, the demand for Pakistani agricultural products is rising in many Asian countries.
Sending goods through Iran is cheaper and faster, which benefits both exporters and importers.
This trade route is playing a major role in strengthening Pakistan’s agricultural economy.
