Tehran: Recent reports claiming that Iran’s new Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei was injured during an Israeli and American attack have now been clarified.

Concerns began spreading after several rumors circulated about his condition. However, Yousef Pezeshkian, the son and adviser of the Iranian president, has now spoken about the issue and addressed the speculation.

He confirmed that Mojtaba Khamenei was not injured in the attack and that he is completely safe and in good health.

In a message posted on the social media platform Instagram, Yousef Pezeshkian explained that he had also heard the rumors about Mojtaba Khamenei being wounded. He said that after hearing the news, he immediately contacted close associates and reliable sources to verify the situation.

According to the information he received, Mojtaba Khamenei was safe and unharmed.

Earlier, Iran’s state television had reported that Mojtaba Khamenei might have been injured during recent strikes allegedly carried out by Israel and the United States.

At the same time, the American newspaper The New York Times published a report stating that although Mojtaba Khamenei survived the attack safely, his uncle was killed during the incident.
