Sources from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs have said that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman will visit Pakistan this year. The final dates of the visit are being decided.
According to officials, the Crown Prince is expected to arrive before December 31. The visit is considered very important after the recent Pakistan-Saudi Arabia defense agreement. Work is already underway to finalize the schedule for this trip.
During Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s recent visit to Saudi Arabia, a major defense agreement was signed between the two countries. The two leaders agreed on a strategic mutual defense pact to strengthen cooperation.
This agreement is being seen as a strong commitment from both sides to improve security. It also shows their shared goal of peace and stability in the region and across the world.
The official statement explained that the purpose of this deal is to ensure joint defense against any aggression. If any country attacks one of them, it will be considered an attack on both.
The recent meeting between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman gained worldwide attention. Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, and other ministers were also present at the meeting.
Both leaders had detailed talks on bilateral relations and defense cooperation. Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman assured Pakistan of strong support and full cooperation.
