Rawalpindi: Pakistan’s security forces strongly responded to a series of terrorist attacks carried out in Balochistan, killing 58 militants. During the operations, 10 brave soldiers and 5 civilians embraced martyrdom.
According to details, a terrorist group launched cowardly attacks at 12 different locations across Balochistan late last night. However, security forces and other law enforcement agencies successfully foiled all the attacks.
In one tragic incident, terrorists targeted a Baloch laborer family in the Gwadar–Khuzdar area, killing five family members. The victims included a woman and three children.
Security sources said that so far, 58 terrorists have been killed in various operations. Forces are continuing search and clearance actions in different areas to track down the remaining attackers.
During the operations, 10 soldiers were martyred while defending the country. Security officials added that law enforcement agencies killed a total of 41 terrorists over the past 48 hours.
Further operations and aerial surveillance are ongoing to ensure complete security. Officials said that Indian media and social media activity clearly show coordinated support for the terrorist group.
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi strongly condemned the terrorist attacks in Balochistan and praised security forces for successfully neutralizing the threat.
He said the martyred soldiers are national heroes and their sacrifices will always be remembered. The interior minister also appreciated the professionalism and courage of the security forces, stating that their bravery crushed the terrorists’ evil plans.
