Islamabad (3 December 2025): NADRA offices across Pakistan are now offering special facilities for people with disabilities to make registration easier and more accessible.
On International Day of Persons with Disabilities, NADRA issued a statement saying that its main goal is to ensure that no person — regardless of their disability — is left without an identity.
According to the statement, NADRA provides a special CNIC for persons with disabilities. This card is issued free of cost for the first time and comes with a lifetime validity. So far, more than one million such CNICs have been issued with a special symbol.
NADRA further said that people with disabilities can call the dedicated helpline to get an appointment at any NADRA office. Wheelchairs are available at the centers, and their processing is done under the executive category without standing in long queues.
People with disabilities can also use the Pak ID mobile app to book appointments and register their disability status from home.
