Karachi (February 17, 2026): Residents of Karachi were caught off guard after an unexpected hailstorm struck parts of the city, while heavy rain continued in multiple neighborhoods.
The Meteorological Department had already predicted rainfall, but the sudden hail in Liaquatabad surprised many citizens. Nearby areas are also experiencing strong showers, adding to the unusual weather conditions.
Rain across different parts of Karachi has made the weather cooler and more pleasant. Showers have been reported in North Karachi, Manghopir, North Nazimabad, SITE Area, Baldia Town, Orangi, and Gulberg.
Meanwhile, unexpected hail was also reported in Nazimabad, Liaquatabad, and Naval Colony, leaving residents amazed. According to the Meteorological Department, the rain is expected to continue until tonight.
