New York: The White House has released the plan for U.S. President Trump’s meeting with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif happening today.
According to the details, the White House issued the schedule for 25 September, which shows that the U.S. President will meet Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on 25 September at 4:30 p.m.
As per the official plan, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will arrive at the White House at exactly 4:30 p.m. on 25 September, where both leaders will have a one-on-one meeting.
The official schedule also mentions that President Trump will meet Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan earlier in the afternoon.
A day before, after the end of the U.S.-Arab Islamic Summit, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and President Trump had an informal meeting.
On that occasion, both leaders shook hands warmly. During the talk, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held the U.S. President’s hand, while Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar was also present at the meeting.
According to sources, today’s meeting is expected to cover important topics like regional security, Pakistan-U.S. relations, trade, and mutual cooperation.
