The Ministry of Energy in Saudi Arabia has told petrol station owners not to give fuel to drivers who don’t follow safety rules. It is now necessary to turn off the car engine while filling petrol.
According to Saudi news reports, the Ministry said the new rule aims to make sure public safety and discipline are followed by everyone. It also helps prevent accidents that can happen due to carelessness at petrol stations.
Reports mention that petrol stations must have separate entry and exit routes so that there is no crowd or confusion while refueling. Drivers are also required to use the proper route and not enter from the wrong side just to save time.
The Ministry has made it clear that if a driver doesn’t turn off the car engine while refueling, petrol will not be given. Station owners must follow this rule strictly to ensure safety for everyone.
Majid Al-Otaibi, the Secretary of Technical and Regulatory Affairs at the Ministry, said that these new safety measures are made to improve the quality of petrol station services and protect people from any kind of danger. The main goal is to ensure public safety across the country.
