All around the world, including Pakistan, more and more people are installing solar panels to generate electricity from sunlight, as Reported By Save Our Pak News Channel on Tuesday.
Nowadays, solar energy has become very important. It is one of the best and cleanest ways to meet the electricity needs of homes and businesses. It helps reduce electricity bills, protects the environment, and gives people energy independence.
But for solar panels to work properly and stay safe, we also need to take some precautions.
Many people believe that the stronger the sunlight, the more electricity solar panels will make — because they work best during the day and stop working in the evening. But now, a new discovery has surprised everyone.
While it makes sense to think that more heat means more power, solar energy experts have explained that this common idea is not completely true. In fact, when the temperature gets too high, solar panels actually start producing less electricity.
Experts say that modern solar panels work best when the temperature is between 15 to 25 degrees Celsius. If the temperature goes above 25°C, then for every 1-degree rise, the panel’s performance drops by about 0.3% to 0.5%. This happens because the electrons inside the solar cells bounce around too much due to heat, which leads to lower voltage and less power.
